Christine Knight
"Art is much less important than life, but what a poor life without it.” Christine Knight is a mother, teacher and artist who has lived on the North Island since 2001. She paints with watercolours and acrylics, and makes jewellery, clothes, and anything else that comes to mind. Moving from the city to the slower paced life in Port Hardy gave her more time to pursue painting and arts and crafts, things that had taken a backseat to work and commuting for many years. "Surrounded by the beauty of this community, I feel like I will never run out of inspiration”. |
