Terence Warbey
He is well-known for his handmade gold and sterling silver earrings, bracelets, bangles, pendants, and brooches styled in a variety of forms from nature—sea life and flowers, including whale’s tails, Orcas, sand dollars, hummingbirds, roses, dogwoods and lilies, as well as his contemporary, clean, artistic designs such as stylized hearts, geometric patterns, and forged shapes. Depending on the style, each piece is sculptured and carefully polished to highlight the finished texture, whether pebble or large hammered planishing, bright smooth metal, or hand engraving. Silver pendants are permanently hung on 18 or 20 inch Italian sterling silver chains; bracelets are safely attached by a sterling silver heart clasp. For more than 30 years, Terry Warbey’s work has been featured in fine galleries in and around the Pacific North West. Apprenticed in England and now living on Saltspring Island on the west coast of Canada, Terry’s designs and craftsmanship reflect his European roots and Western lifestyle. |
